A Los Angeles native, Cory received her Masters Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Using a holistic approach, she combines various “old school” therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy in conjunction with newer, more cutting-edge techniques such as somatic work, mindfulness, and self compassion.

Cory specializes in working with those who suffer from chronic pain or a chronic illness. Together, she and the client work on both the practical issues that arise with such a diagnosis, as well as attending to the mind-body connection, working to reduce overall pain and suffering using a wide variety of therapeutic modalities. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with those who suffer from Anxiety, Depression, and life transition issues.

Cory understands the difficulty of finding a therapist who feels like the right match. So, she works to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship, one that starts with trust and safety, jointly setting goals and therapeutic priorities. She prides herself on holding space for her clients and supporting them with patience, awareness, empathy, and authenticity.
